Driveways
A driveway that's built right drains water, holds its shape and stands up to mud season and snowplows. Ken Bruce Construction builds and rebuilds driveways throughout New Hampshire and southern Maine.
New Driveway Construction
We build new driveways from the ground up — excavating, establishing a proper base, and surfacing in gravel or processed crushed stone. A driveway is only as good as what’s underneath it, so we build the base to carry weight and shed water from the start.
Regrading, Reshaping & Resurfacing
Existing driveway washing out, rutting or holding water? We regrade and reshape to restore proper pitch and crown, and resurface by adding fresh gravel or stone. It’s a cost-effective way to bring a tired driveway back without a full rebuild.
Culverts & Drainage
Water is what destroys driveways. We install culverts and build in drainage so runoff has somewhere to go instead of pooling on your driveway or washing it out. Proper drainage is the difference between a driveway you maintain once and one you fight every spring.
Surfaces & Paving Prep
We surface in gravel and processed/crushed stone, and we prep driveways for paving if you're bringing in a paving contractor — grading and compacting a proper base so the pavement goes down on solid ground.
