Site Preparation & Excavation
Every build starts with the ground. Ken Bruce Construction provides complete site preparation and excavation across New Hampshire and southern Maine — from the first tree cleared to the final graded surface — for homes, additions, commercial buildings and full subdivisions.
Complete Site Preparation
We handle the full scope of getting a site ready to build:
- Clearing & grubbing — removing trees, brush and stumps
- Foundation & cellar hole excavation
- Rough and finish grading
- Utility trenching for water, sewer and electric
Because we own and operate our own excavators, loader, dump trucks and screening equipment, we can move from one phase to the next without waiting on outside crews.
Foundations & Cellar Holes
We dig foundations and cellar holes to your builder's footprint and elevations, set to grade so the foundation crew can pour without delay. Clean, accurate excavation at this stage saves time and money on everything that follows.
Grading & Utilities
We rough-grade to shape the site and finish-grade to leave it ready for loam, paving or landscaping. We also trench and backfill for water, sewer and electric lines, coordinating with your other trades to keep the project moving.
From Single Homes to Full Developments
We work on new home builds, additions, commercial buildings and entire subdivisions and developments. Builders and general contractors bring us in because we understand schedules and keep our part of the job on track.
